New York Minute, and stablemate, Always Ready, worked in from the 1000m, the last 600m in 40.85, having to battle a strong headwind, this was good work. New York Minute holds a nomination at Re Rapa in the R75 1400m.

Gypsy Fair worked nicely over 1000m, with the last 600m in 41.60. The open 1300 at New Plymouth on the 20th will be her next race.

Madonna Mia returned to the track after a short break and went over 1000m, the last 600m in 40.37. There are currently no set plans in place for her return to racing.

Zeone and Agooddeal were sent over 1000m, with the last 600m in 41.80. The all American filly has the O’Leary Stakes at Wanganui for 3yo as her target.

Art Deco travelled sweetly over 1000m, the last 600m in 42.04. The impressive last start winner runs at New Plymouth next Saturday.

The Janelle Millar trained duo, Tequila Sunrise and Te Hana, worked together over 1000m, running the last 600m in 41.85. Both are forward in condition and may step out at New Plymouth next weekend.

King Nero, and Interprovincial nominee, and Madam Defarge were sent over 1000m, finishing the last 600m in 41 even. King Nero looks particularly well at present.

Katie McKeen ran 1200m, at three quarters pace and finishing well within herself, the mare just didn’t hit out at Taumarunui Cup. She ventures to Te Rapa on Saturday where she has previously had success.

Hard To be Humble, Miss Bondi and Time Bomb, stablemates in the Janelle Millar Racing stables, worked together over 1000m, covering the last 600m in 43 seconds even. They are all likely starters at New Plymouth next weekend.
