Trackwork at Pukekura Raceway

Course Proper. Markers Outside. Dead 

Gallops took place on the outside rail, on a dead surface.

Kawi demonstrated his readiness for the NRM at Te Rapa on Saturday with a solid 1200 accompanied by You’ll Do Me. The paid went to the line strongly with the last 600 in 36.45. Winning a trial and two jump outs Kawi is well forward to resume with Michael Walker taking the ride.

Willbeokay and Ellies Empress, preparing for the local meeting on Friday, worked over 1000m, the last 600 in 38.58.

Malo Bik and Almosta worked over 1000m, the last 600 in 37.20. Both race at New Plymouth on Friday.

Rhiza completed a solo gallop in strong fashion, running over 1000m with the last 600 in 37.25. Rhiza holds a nomination for both New Plymouth and Te Rapa this weekend.

Sakura worked over 1000m the last 600 in 37.65. Any easing of the track at New Plymouth would suit.

Mars Bars and Catwomandu paired up over 1000, the last 600 in 36.10. This was good work by the pair. Mars Bars may trek to Te Rapa.

Cottoneva and On Debut, preparing for the local meeting, worked over 1200 the last 600 in 37.85.

Rascallion and Alamcferson went over 1000, the last 600 in 35.56. This was good work by the pair.

Carlow and Twosnotenough worked a solid 1200 together, the last 600 in 38.50. Twosnotenough looks particularly well at present.

Isola Bella and Absolutely Me completed a solid work over 1000, the last 600 in 36.85. Isola Bella has thrived in recent works and starts Friday.
