Trackwork at Pukekura Raceway

Course Proper. Markers Outside. Good 

Gallops took place on a Good course proper, against the inside rail.

Bonecrusher New Zealand stakes contender, Kawi, underlined his fitness for Saturday with an outstanding gallop. With stablemate, Twosnotenough, the pair worked up together from the 1600 increasing the pace from the1200 in 1.14.3, the last 600 in 34.24. Kawi has trained on and Twosnotenough continues to impress in its work. A useful third in its last start could see it be a major player at Egmont on Saturday.

Skoota Brown and Absolutelyme impressed over 1000 with the last 600 in 36.20. Absolutelyme resumes at the Egmont meeting on Saturday.

Hoist and Malo Bik galloped from the 800 the last 600 in 35.20. This was strong work by the pair. Hoist has impressed in recent runs and is likely to start at Wellington on the 18th.

Miss Bondi had Lovethefeeling as a companion over 1000m, running the last 600m in 36.55. Miss Bondi races at Hawera on Saturday.

Grinner and On Debut worked over 1000m, together the last 600 in 36.35. Grinner ran a tidy race on debut and resumes at Egmont.
