Trackwork at Pukekura Raceway
Tuesday 6th June 2017
Course Proper. Markers Out 18m. Heavy.

After persistent rain over the weekend the track was heavy for Tuesday trackwork.

Time honours on the morning were shared by the Alan Sharrock pair of Landlord and You’ll Do Me and the Janelle Millar pair of Time Bomb and an unnamed Jimmy Choux. Both pairs galloped strongly in the conditions running the last 600m in 40.6.

Hard To Be Humble and Light Em Up, also from the Millar stable completed a steady 1000m, the last 600 in 41.4. Hard To Be Humble should continue its strong form.

Wai Not and Ledbury were partnered over 1200m, the last 600 in 42.1. Wai Not has recovered from a minor setback whilst Ledbury runs at New Plymouth on Thursday.

Devi worked solo of 1200m, the last 600 in 42.7. Mendip did similar work, the last 600m slightly faster in 42.1.

King Nero was partnered with Crackers over a strong 1200m, the last 600 in 42.4. He is a good chance in a small field on his home track on Thursday.
