Ladies First galloped 1200m, the last 600 in 38.2. She will be a chance if any precipitation is around her next start.

Jazamour was partnered by a Pins from the Ian Adams stable. They ran 1400, the last 600 in 39.0. Jazamour seemed to appreciate the dull track.

Lion Red was partnered by an O’Reilly 2yo in the Wheeler stable. They ran 1000m, the last 600 in 39.4. The 2yo looked good.

Pownce worked solo over 1000m, the last 600 in 39.2. Pownce should win a maiden soon.

The Janelle Millar pair of Won’t Back Down and Ruby Love ran 1000m, the last 600m in 38.4. It was solid work.

Vencedora was partnered by one of the Wheeler jumpers, Heistheone, over 1000m, the last 600 in 39.7.

The Patterson pair Woodbine Lad and Aridity were locked together over 1000m, the last 600 in 38.7. Both may go to Woodville on Thursday.

Rizza and an unnamed Swiss Ace, trained by Sandy Dravitzski, ran an easy 1000m, quickening the last 600m in 38.3. It was pleasing work.

Many of the Wheeler jumping team worked on the sand as they returned to the track.

Fair Script and Zed Case looked well, running the last 600m of their work in 41.2.

Trainer John Wheeler is very happy with the preliminary condition of his jumping team.
