Trackwork at Pukekura Raceway

Course Proper. Track Good. Markers Out 2m. 

On a busy morning time honours of the session went to the Sharrock pair of Malo Bik and Valencia, who galloped 1000m, the last 600 in a quick 34.3 seconds.

From the Millar barn, Koko Belle and Ruby Love were just as impressive over their 1000m, recording 34.7 for their last 600m.

Collinstreet and Hoist galloped over 1400m, the 600 in 38.2. Hoist is close to another win.

Wheeler jumpers Newstead, Yardstick, and Mendoza also galloped 1400, the last 600m in 36.2. It was sound work by all.

Millar Racing stablemates Battle Kat and How’s That Girl were paired, along with Effectav and Joyride, in 1000m gallops, with a last 600m timed at 35.5 and 35.3 seconds respectively.

A Pins filly with Ian Adams was partnered by Spondulix over 1000m, the last 600m in 37.2. Spondulix looks well after a break.

The Wheeler pair of Stylish Applause and Lordehavemercy strode over 1000m, the last 600m in 36.6. It was solid work.

Rosewood preparing for a return to the track waster partnered by Mastercourtsman over 1200m, the last 600 in 37.1. Rosewood will relish the upcoming wetter tracks.

The last gallop on the course proper was Duellicious who ran 1200m, the last 600m in 37.5. Duellicious is a good chance at Wanganui.

The Patterson team all galloped on the sand over 1000m, the last 600m in steady fashion. Times were; Vincent 43.1, Smoken Hot 43.3, Fascino Lass38.7. Last start winner, Smoken Hot and Fascino lass go to Wanganui Thursday.
