Trackwork at Pukekura Raceway
Tuesday 24th April 2018
Course Proper. Track Slow 7. Markers Out 18m.
Quite a busy session this morning.
Time honours went to the Janelle Millar trained Hard To Be Humble who worked over the 1000m, running the last 600m in 37.1. It was excellent work.
The Allan Sharrock pair of Fields of Fire and Turncoat also worked well over the same distance, the last 600m in 37.9.
Master Courtsman and Toby Choice worked together in a pleasing gallop over a solid 1200m home in 40.4.
The inform Smoken Hot worked strongly over 1000m, the last 600 in 38.5. He may be Blenheim bound where he will be very competitive,
Others who may also go to Blenheim are the Wheeler pair Lorde Have Mercy and Alamacpherson who worked 1000m and came the last 600 in 38.7. Lorde Have Mercy won’t be a maiden long.
Battle Kat and Mistress Porotene worked together a sound 1000m, the last 600 in 38.5. Mistress Porotene looked improved with her first up run.
Royal Empress worked well with Rosewood over 1000m, the last 600m in 38.7. Rosewood looks in good order for a winter campaign.
Youngsters from the Bryce Revell stable by Cape Blanco and Echoes of Heaven worked 800m, sprinting the last 6m in 39.8. The Cape Blanco out of the good mare Exstreme looks well.
The last gallop was Our Milo and Hi Yo Man who appeared to be working well, the last 600m in 39.5.
BROUGHT TO YOU BY next race day at Pukekura Raceway, Contractors and Suppliers Race Day, Saturday 12th May.
