Trackwork at Pukekura Raceway

Course Proper. Markers out 10m. Dead. 

Conditions were sunny and warm for this morning’s track work, where markers were at 10m with a Dead Course Proper.

Jackson Road and Telluwhat worked over 1000m with the 600m in 38. Both horse are coming to hand nicely.

Isola Bella and Absolutely Me paired up over 1000m, working home nicely the last 600m in 39.

Layoff and a Commands turned the pace up over 1000m, working home strongly with the last 600 in 38.75.

Mihaul and Whispering worked away from the 1000m and went to the line full of running the last 600 in 37.70. Mihaul impressed in last Friday’s jump outs winning with plenty in hand. Whispering also won her heat over 1000m, and looks bright in the coat.

Just The Tip and Love The Feeling worked over 1000m, running the last 600m in 38 seconds even. Just The Tip was successful in his heat over 1400m at last week’s jump outs, and is down to resume at Manawatu on the 10th of this month.

Turncoat and Catwomandu worked over a solid 1200m, the last 600 in 38.87. Catwomadu may resume at Waverley on Sunday week.

Malibu Miss impressed over 1000m, galloping solo. The “Swiss Ace” mare finished off full of running, the last 600 in 37.65.

Last start winner, Victoria’s Legacy, went with Party Marty over 1000m, the last 600 in 38.87.

Stablemates, Koko Belle and Miss Percynallity went over 1000m, covering the last 600m in 38 seconds even. Now that the tracks are expected to firm up, both will show up at short notice.
